Sat 6 March 2010 was a devastatingly sad day as our Chairman Peter Alexander McKenzie passed away following a titanic battle with cancer. Diagnosed almost 2 years ago with terminal oesophagus cancer he was given just 6 months to live. But it was typical that the same tenacious fighting spirit that took TWP from a single customer to a multi-million international packaging company, saw the prognosis as another challenge. We were immensely proud when his selfless fundraising to assist other cancer sufferers earned him the award of Pride of Wearside..............
