TWP Packaging has undertaken around 4 years of intensive research and development into the feasibility and reality of a manufacturing plant in China. The result of this development clearly indicated that the set-up of a new plant in the Henan Province of China would be an ideal match of skills, cultures, and dynamic entrepreneurship between the people of China and the people of the North East of England.

The new plant now up and running will mirror the company’s manufacturing facility at its international headquarters in Gateshead UK

China continues to exhibit breakneck growth at around 9% a year while the country’s trade surplus reached an all time high of $26.9bn in June. The project highlights exciting opportunities to sell into one of the largest markets in the world and we will become the first packaging manufacturing facility in the Province and indeed China.
